Temperature:

The average temperature of the summer day is 25-26 ° C, and the summer night 14-15 ° C, which gives a daily difference of 11-12 ° C. The average temperature of the winter day is 23 ° C, and the night 12-13 ° C, giving a daily difference of 10-11 ° C.

Humidity:

The Blood Red Symphoglossum needs the average humidity throughout the year of 75%.

Substrate, growing media and repotting:

You can use any loose and airy substrate, or cultivation on rootstocks, provided that high humidity is ensured.

Watering:

The rainfall is small to moderate throughout the year, but in winter the conditions are slightly drier. Fertilizer:

During the active growth, the plants should be fertilized every week 1/4-1/2 of the recommended dose of fertilizer for orchids. A fertilizer with a high nitrogen content is beneficial from spring to mid-summer, and a fertilizer richer in phosphorus should be used in late summer and autumn.

Rest period:
