It is a small to just medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte, which reaching 38 cm in height, with ovoid, laterally compressed, stipitate, smooth, 8-10 cm long and 2.3 cm wide pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 3 to 4 lateral sheaths and carries 2 apical, elliptical to oblong-ovate, acute, up to 30 cm long and 2.0-3.4 cm wide leaves.

ASPASIA SILVANA CARE AND CULTURE
Cultural information should only be used as a guide, and should be to be adapted to suit you. Your physical location; where you grow your plants, how much time you have to devote to their care, and many other factors, will need to be taken into account. Only then can you decide on the cultural methods that best suit you and your plants.
Light:
Aspasia silvana needs a light level of 20000-35000 lux. The plants grow best in bright, but slightly diffused light and need protection from direct southern sun.
Temperature:
The average temperature of the summer day is 24-26 ° C, night 18 ° C, which gives a daily difference of 7-8 ° C. The average temperature of the winter day is 20-21 ° C, the night 13-14 ° C, giving a daily difference of 7 ° C.
Humidity:
The Forest Growing Aspasia needs the humidity of 80-85% throughout the year.
Substrate, growing media and repotting:
You can use any loose medium gradation.
Watering:
In the natural habitat, the precipitation is moderate to heavy from spring to autumn, but in the winter months are slightly smaller. The Aspasia silvana plants should be abundantly watered during active growth, but they must dry a little between watering. When the blooming ends in autumn, the amount of water should be gradually reduced.
Fertilizer:
During the active growth, the plants should be fertilized every week 1/4-1/2 of the recommended dose of fertilizer for orchids. A fertilizer with a high nitrogen content is beneficial from spring to mid-summer, and a fertilizer richer in phosphorus should be used in late summer and autumn.
Rest period:
In winter, you need to reduce the amount of water for Aspasia silvana, but they can never dry up completely. In general, similar conditions can be achieved by fairly regular morning fogging, with slight watering every 2 weeks, especially when the period of bright, sunny weather begins. Fertilization should be reduced until spring when more watering is undertaken.
